Meet Corinne, a talented Account Executive from Britain, who has a passion for understanding our customers and the unique challenges they face.

In this article, we get to know this British native (now residing in Vancouver) a bit better and learn about her role at the company. From her daily responsibilities, to what she loves about working in sales, to what she does in her free time (hint: it involves the outdoors!), we’ve got all the details covered.

What does your role entail?

When customers come to ThoughtFarmer, they often come to me with a vision. But, it’s my role to uncover their challenges, reasons for the challenges and the impacts they have on internal communication, so I can make sure that an intranet is the right solution for them. Once we agree that ThoughtFarmer is a good fit, I tailor a product demo to their challenges—I don’t believe that all companies are the same, so a demo is not one-size-fits-all!

From there, I work closely with the contact through the sales process by providing them with the tools they need to get internal buy-in and to be able to make an informed decision.

What challenges do you see prospects facing?

Whilst all companies are different, there are certainly themes. Whether the company is 100 people, or 1000 people, there are common challenges when it comes to managing content, streamlining communications, and encouraging connections between employees.

How do you feel ThoughtFarmer differs from its competitors?

ThoughtFarmer’s navigation, structure, and design are extremely customizable so any company can make it work for them. I find this also helps companies scale their intranet if and when the time comes. Our Customer Success team is a delight to work with, and the 100% customer satisfaction scoring is a true reflection of that.

How does ThoughtFarmer compare to other companies you have worked for?

I learnt very quickly why ThoughtFarmer employees stay for a long time! The employees are so friendly and very experienced. I have learnt so much just by working with different team members!

What’s the most common question you get asked on a sales demo?

“How long does it take to implement ThoughtFarmer?” and this is a great question! It’s important to understand how soon you’ll be able to use the tool.

ThoughtFarmer is an out of the box solution, meaning that it is very quick to set up. The most time consuming part is migrating your content over, and making sure that content is relevant to the new intranet. We see most intranets fully launched within 8 weeks, but this depends on your content levels and the resources you have to dedicate to the intranet.

What do you like most about your job?

Talking to new people! I meet really interesting people during the sales process and it’s great to connect with them, no matter where they are.

What do you do when you are not working?

You can find me outside! I joined a bike racing team in 2022 so I spend a lot of time on my bikes! It’s very cold in Vancouver during the winter, so I make the most of the snow by going skiing. We are very spoiled!
