In brief: Involve employees in naming the intranet and then bring the brand to life to build emotional connections.
The Bank of Tennessee used a collaborative process to find a name for their new intranet. Employees suggested and then voted on names. The final name picked was “JET” which stands for “Just Employee Talk.” Bank of Tennessee created a pervasive, friendly retro air travel theme, even making the login page look like a boarding pass. Who wouldn’t want to use this intranet? It’s inviting, exciting and a fun place to spend time. One less barrier to user adoption.
