- Access to ThoughtFarmer Support Site
- Access to issue tracking system
- Access to all releases of ThoughtFarmer (as made available as downloadable installers on support site)
Gold Software Maintenance
Gold software maintenance is standard for ThoughtFarmer installations with more than 200 users. It Includes:
- Everything included under Basic Support
- Telephone support
- Remote installation of all releases via VPN / RDP (on request)
- Guaranteed response times
- Additional license for staging / development server
Pricing
First Year — Included in License Fee
After First Year — Greater of $5,000 or 35% of the license fee, annually
For U.S. and European customers, all prices are in U.S. funds. For Canadian customers, all prices are in Canadian funds.
Frequently asked questions on software maintenance
Do I have to buy software maintenance?
No. Software maintenance is included in the first year. After the first year, you can choose not to buy software maintenance, and you are free to continue using ThoughtFarmer. If you decide to renew your maintenance in a future year, your coverage will be payable retroactive to the date it lapsed.
I’m used to paying maybe 20% for support. Why is yours more?
Because it’s not just support — it’s support and all upgrades. We release about 3 upgrades per year, each one with valuable new features. Other enterprise social software vendors license their software on a monthly or annual basis. We decided it was better for our customers if we granted a perpetual license with an annual option for support and upgrades.
Can I upgrade to Gold Software Maintenance even if I have fewer than 200 users?
Yes. If you have fewer than 200 users, you can upgrade to Gold Software Maintenance for an additional $2000, annually.
