Software Sales Coordinator

Job Description

Reporting directly to ThoughtFarmer’s leadership team, the Sales Coordinator’s role is to keep sales activities running smoothly and efficiently and to handle the first level of lead qualification. The role requires a very organized person with outstanding communication skills and a high degree of comfort with technology. Sales experience is an asset.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Respond to incoming sales leads
  • Qualify incoming leads through online research, phone calls and emails
  • Lead live and online software demonstrations
  • Coordinate schedules and book client meetings for leadership team
  • Assemble proposals, quotes, RFP responses and contracts
  • Manage lead tracking system
  • Assist with marketing and lead-generation activities
  • Follow up with potential customers until an agreement is reached
  • Nurture and deepen relationships with existing customers through regular phone or email contact
  • Help develop systems to make lead generation, lead follow-up and customer relationship management more efficient

Required skills and attributes include:

  • Enthusiastic & outgoing personality
  • Outstanding verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding written communication skills
  • Self-starter with little need of close supervision
  • Innate ability to manage dozens of lists and spreadsheets and hundreds of to-dos
  • Enthusiastic about social software
  • Very comfortable with all kinds of technology
  • Experience in a sales environment is an asset
